We welcome Social Prescribing announcement

As a fast-growth digital innovator, we’ve welcomed this week’s announcement by the British Medical Association which calls for Social Prescribing to be a default option for GP Practices and incorporated fully into GP Practice IT systems.

Joint Chief Executive, Alison Meadows, said “We strongly welcome The British Medical Association’s call for social prescribing to be incorporated fully into GP IT systems.

“As members of the Social Prescribing Network, we recognise the empowering role of Social Prescribing in enabling people to take greater control of their health and wellbeing while reducing the strain on GP Practices and NHS appointments generally.”
